Butterscotch Rabdi...Diwali/Festive

Butterscotch Rabdi..Coz my Hot Jalebis needed a Cool friend  

Recipe:
1 cup milk
1 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup condensed milk
Sugar 1/4 cup (adjust acc to taste)
Butterscotch daana ... almost 15 pieces...
a few saffron (kesar) strands
1 tsp ghee
a few drops of rose essence
For The Garnish
butterscotch drops, saffron strands


Method:
Mix all the ingredients, except sugar, together in a large pan.
Heat the mixture in a deep heavy vessel on a medium flame till it comes to boil.
Simmer and cook for approx. 20 to 25 minutes or till the milk reduces to ½ its quantity, while stirring and scrapping the sides of the pan continuously.
Add the sugar and simmer for another 20 to 25 minutes or till the milk thickens.
Garnish with items mentioned..and chill.
